Sam Seeberger
Drumline Tech
Sam joins the staff with a deep-rooted passion for the marching arts and a specialized focus on battery technique. A four-year veteran of high school marching band—including three years anchoring the bass line—Sam developed an early appreciation for the technical precision and ensemble timing required for a successful percussion program.
In 2015, Sam took his performance career to the elite level, marching Bass Line with Thunder Drum and Bugle Corps. This experience in the DCI circuit provided him with a rigorous technical foundation and a firsthand understanding of the grit required to perform at a world-class standard.
Currently, Sam serves as a technician for both the Central Valley (CV) Marching Band and the CV Indoor Percussion programs. Outside of the gym, he is pursuing a degree in education, further refining his ability to communicate complex musical concepts and mentor the next generation of performers.
Teaching Philosophy:
Sam’s approach to percussion is built on the pillars of hard work, dedication, and discipline. He specializes in bass line fundamentals, emphasizing the importance of split-part integrity and rhythmic consistency. He believes that musical excellence is a byproduct of character, emphasizing that a focused rehearsal environment is where true growth happens. Above all, Sam prioritizes upward progress—challenging every student to be better today than they were yesterday, ensuring the ensemble continues to evolve throughout the season.
